For theaters, companies & publicists

Hi, I’m Fei.

I’m the creator and editor behind Performing Arts World and @feisworld on Instagram. After 15 years living in Boston and Newton, I moved to Central Mass in 2020, so my audience spans both Central Mass and Greater Boston. I cover circus, physical theater, comedy and live performance, mostly in Worcester and across Central Mass, plus Boston, and every July I’m in Montreal for the circus festival. I care most about the people behind the show.

Since 2014 I’ve interviewed artists and creators from Cirque du Soleil, 7 Fingers, Machine du Cirque, Circus 1903, and the National Circus School in Montreal. Closer to home, I’ve covered shows at The Hanover Theatre in Worcester.

Work with me

Two ways to work together

1. Media tickets

For a pair of media tickets, you get:

  • A listing on my On My Radar page, marked Seeing it
  • Live Instagram Stories on the night, with your accounts tagged
  • A short recap afterward, on Instagram or on Performing Arts World

2. Featured

For shows that need to sell seats, especially one-night-only events:

  • A preview article 2–6 weeks ahead, linked to your ticket page
  • An Instagram Collab post on both our feeds, plus reminder Stories
  • Live Stories on the night, then a Reel
  • A detailed review after I’ve seen the show
  • When schedules allow, a bonus artist interview for the blog or the Feisworld podcast

Featured is a paid partnership. Rates on request. The detailed review is always honest and clearly disclosed, and payment doesn’t buy a positive verdict. I always disclose complimentary tickets and paid partnerships.

What it looks like on Instagram

Recent Reels from shows I’ve seen, each tagged with the show and venue. Tap one to watch it on Instagram.

On show nights I post live Stories too. See them in the Circus & Theater highlight on @feisworld.

Custom video features, like my ECHO mini documentary made at Cirque du Soleil’s invitation, are available for touring productions and companies by arrangement.

Why work with me

Two audiences in one

I lived in Boston and Newton for 15 years before moving to Central Mass in 2020, so my community spans Central Mass and Greater Boston.

A long track record

I’ve been interviewing performers and creators on the Feisworld podcast since 2014.

Trusted access

Cirque du Soleil invited me behind the scenes of ECHO in Montreal in 2023, then back the following year to interview the team behind KURIOS. My ECHO mini documentary on the Feisworld YouTube channel has more than 10,000 views.

Coverage that lasts

Previews and reviews stay searchable long after an Instagram Story disappears.

Past coverage

  • ECHO by Cirque du Soleil: behind-the-scenes mini documentary, Montreal 2023, at the invitation of the show’s PR team, 10,000+ views on YouTube
  • KURIOS by Cirque du Soleil: video interview with the creative team, at Cirque du Soleil’s invitation
  • Machine du Cirque (Kintsugi): interview at the Montreal Circus Festival
  • Cirque du Soleil’s Atherton family: a three-part podcast series
  • Circus 1903: interviews with ringmaster David Williamson and flyer Anny Laplante
  • 7 Fingers: interview with co-founder Gypsy Snider
  • The Hanover Theatre: Beetlejuice and Cirque Kalabanté

Get in touch

The best time to reach me is 4–8 weeks before the show, so there’s time for a proper preview. Email [email protected] or DM @feisworld.
